TRAINING, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School degree or recognized equivalent, and either an Associate's Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, preferably including children with special needs; or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current First Aid and CPR Certificate; CPI certification to be provided upon hire. A completed on-line application is required in order to be considered for the opening. Proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate or Bachelor degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application. This position is open to all qualified candidates. CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES: You must also submit an on-line application via Edjon.org, along will all required documents. Under the direction of the Director of Special Education; and in conjunction with the Supervisor of Transportation, provides needed transportation assistance to special education students and to do related work as required.All applicants will be notified by email regarding their selection status.
